Acceptable Use Policy

Guidelines for using AI workspaces, tools, and digital services provided by King & Co.

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of AI workspaces, automated workflows, digital tools, and any other technology-based services ("Digital Services") provided by King & Company Consulting ("King & Co."). This AUP supplements and is incorporated into the Terms of Service and any applicable Master Services Agreement or Order Form.

1. Scope

This AUP applies to all clients, their employees, contractors, and any other individuals authorized by the client to access or use Digital Services provided by King & Co. By using any Digital Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.

2. Permitted Use

Digital Services are provided solely for Client's legitimate internal business purposes as specified in the applicable engagement agreement. Permitted uses include:

  • Using AI workspaces to assist with business operations, decision-making, and workflow automation
  • Accessing training materials and documentation provided in connection with the services
  • Processing business data through automated workflows configured by King & Co.
  • Using tools and templates for their intended internal business purpose

3. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Digital Services to:

  • Violate Laws or Regulations: Engage in any activity that violates applicable federal, state, or local laws, including employment, privacy, healthcare, and data protection regulations
  • Process Unauthorized Data: Input personal data, protected health information (PHI), financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information into AI workspaces unless specifically authorized in writing and the workspace has been configured for such use
  • Redistribute or Resell: Sublicense, resell, redistribute, or make available to third parties any Digital Services, training materials, AI workspace configurations, prompt libraries, or other deliverables without written consent
  • Reverse Engineer: Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying methodologies, prompts, configurations, or frameworks used in the Digital Services
  • Generate Harmful Content: Use AI workspaces to generate content that is defamatory, fraudulent, discriminatory, threatening, or otherwise harmful
  • Misrepresent AI Output: Present AI-generated content as human-created work in contexts where disclosure of AI involvement is required by law, regulation, or professional standards
  • Circumvent Safeguards: Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security, content filtering, or access controls implemented in the Digital Services
  • Unauthorized Access: Access or attempt to access Digital Services, accounts, systems, or data not intended for your use
  • Introduce Malware: Upload, transmit, or introduce any viruses, malware, or other harmful code into Digital Services

4. AI-Specific Guidelines

4.1 Human Oversight

AI-generated outputs are intended to assist, not replace, human judgment. Client is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all AI-generated content before use in decision-making, client communications, regulatory submissions, or any context where accuracy is critical.

4.2 Data Input Responsibilities

Client is responsible for ensuring that any data input into AI workspaces complies with applicable privacy laws and that appropriate consents have been obtained. Client should not input data beyond what is necessary for the intended business purpose.

4.3 Third-Party AI Platform Terms

AI workspaces may utilize third-party AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft). Client acknowledges that use of these platforms is also subject to the respective platform's terms of service and acceptable use policies. King & Co. is not responsible for changes to third-party platform terms, pricing, capabilities, or availability.

4.4 Output Accuracy

AI systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or biased outputs. King & Co. does not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated content. Client assumes responsibility for validating all outputs before relying on them.

5. Account and Access Security

Client is responsible for maintaining the security of all accounts, credentials, and access tokens provided in connection with Digital Services. Client shall promptly notify King & Co. of any unauthorized access, security breach, or compromise of credentials. Client shall not share access credentials with unauthorized individuals or use shared/generic accounts unless specifically authorized.

6. Monitoring and Enforcement

King & Co. reserves the right to monitor use of Digital Services for compliance with this AUP and to investigate suspected violations. Upon determining a violation, we may, at our discretion: issue a warning, suspend access to affected Digital Services, terminate the applicable engagement, or pursue legal remedies. We will provide reasonable notice before suspension or termination except in cases of severe or urgent violations that pose immediate risk.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it promptly to hello@kingandco.consulting.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to affected clients at least thirty (30) days prior to taking effect. Continued use of Digital Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
