A few useful answers

Before we begin.

How is implementation support billed?

Billed by the hour, so your bill reflects the support you need. We discuss the work and agree on the rate and estimated effort before starting. Software and provider fees are separate.

Do we need an ongoing contract?

You can start with a focused implementation project. Ongoing payroll or HR support is a separate option, discussed only if you need it.

Do we have to change payroll providers?

No. We can start by reviewing the system you already use and the problems you want to solve. A provider change is only one possible next step.

Which payroll systems can you help with?

Tell us your current platform and the one you are considering. We discuss the access, tools, and experience your project needs before confirming the scope, including whether your provider or another specialist should handle particular tasks.

How long does implementation take?

Timing depends on the provider, employee data, entities and states, integrations, and testing needed. We agree on a schedule after reviewing those details and your payroll calendar.

What should we bring to the first conversation?

Your current and proposed payroll platforms, approximate employee count, target date, and the part you need help with. No employee records, bank details, or payroll files are needed for the initial conversation.

Who approves payroll and handles tax filings?

Your authorized payroll approver retains approval responsibility. Your payroll provider handles the processing and tax-filing services in its agreement. Our implementation support coordinates setup, checks, and handoffs; direct tax filing is not included.
